| JCB Upgrades Capacity and Extends Agreement for ACI Payments Software
OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: TSAI), a leading international provider of software for electronic payment systems, today announced that JCB Co., Ltd. increased its card processing capacity with ACI's BASE24® software to accommodate future growth in international transactions. JCB also agreed to leverage the solution for an additional five years. JCB has been an ACI customer for the past decade, having migrated their payment system to BASE24 as part of a strategy to expand their international business and increase card acceptance globally. The company used ACI software to implement a switch in the United States, while retaining authorization functions in Japan. "ACI's products are the gold-standard in the industry," said Hiroaki Suwabe, senior vice president of international systems planning at JCB.
SED Taps Industry Vet for CE Merchandising Role

Tom has spent 30 years in the electronics and appliance business, most recently as Sr. VP of Merchandising and Marketing at DSI, a national distributor of CE, appliances and satellite products. Previously, he was a key electronics and appliance merchant at Home Shopping Network, Officemax, and Roberds. He started his career at Rich's Department store where he spent 17 years as a Buyer and a Divisional Merchandise Manager.
