Hypercom Corporation today announced the expansion of its Optimum family of 32-bit multi-application electronic payment terminals with a new global countertop platform featuring the highest security, largest memory and broadest feature set of any countertop device family of its kind. Bank Windhoek will deploy more than 150 of their new Cash Express ATMs at merchant outlets around the country in partnership with ATM Solutions Namibia. The Cash Express ATMs are slightly different from normal ATMs in that merchants operate the machines independently, with Bank Windhoek providing mainly backup services. .
