Credomatic Ranks Hypercom Best Payment Provider in Central America

Hypercom Corporation announced that Credomatic, the largest merchant acquirer in Central America, has named Hypercom the best provider of electronic payment products for Central America . In Credomatic's just completed annual selection and evaluation of suppliers, Hypercom's payment systems ranked 97% out of a possible 100% in product quality, features and benefits, delivery, warranty, reclamations and additional services. "Hypercom is the most trusted provider of electronic payment terminals and transaction network devices in Central America ," said Martha Bonilla, Administrative Manager of Credomatic. Namibia: New Atms Availed Coutrywide

Bank Windhoek will deploy more than 150 of their new Cash Express ATMs at merchant outlets around the country in partnership with ATM Solutions Namibia.

The Cash Express ATMs are slightly different from normal ATMs in that merchants operate the machines independently, with Bank Windhoek providing mainly backup services.

American Express Reshuffles Business Into Two Customer-focused ...

6/20/2007 12:36:38 PM In order to better position itself for growth, American Express Co. (AXP) said Wednesday that it has reorganized the company into two distinct customer-focused groups namely, Global Consumer Group and Global Business-to-Business Group. The company also reported some management changes to reflect the new organization structure.

The New York-based global payments, network and travel company said that the reorganization would come into effect from July 1, 2007.

Alfred Kelly, Jr., who has been promoted to president of American Express Co., will head the Global Consumer Group while Edward Gilligan, who is promoted to vice chairman of American Express Co., will head the Global Business-to-Business Group. Kelly and Gilligan will report to American Express Co., Chairman and CEO Kenneth Chenault.
