International, Inc., a leading distributor of IT, CE, and cellular products, announced today the hiring of consumer electronics industry veteran, Tom Roper. Tom takes over the newly created position of Director and GMM (General Merchandising Manager) of CE Purchasing.
Tom has spent 30 years in the electronics and appliance business, most recently as Sr. VP of Merchandising and Marketing at DSI, a national distributor of CE, appliances and satellite products. Previously, he was a key electronics and appliance merchant at Home Shopping Network, Officemax, and Roberds. He started his career at Rich's Department store where he spent 17 years as a Buyer and a Divisional Merchandise Manager.
